Butt augmentation, also known as Brazilian butt lift, is a procedure used to improve the appearance of flat or sagging Butts. During the procedure, if the patient has enough fat in their body for this procedure, it is taken from certain parts of the body, such as the abdomen and thighs, and then cleaned and injected into the butts.
Some women’s butts are naturally large and have nice lines. However, some women may have a bottom that is flat, lacks curves and looks masculine due to their body structure. With Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery, this is a thing of the past.
A Brazilian butt means that the butts are raised and rounded. To achieve the desired shape, Brazilian butt surgery removes the fat that is distorting the shape of the butts and pulling them down. In the Brazilian butt procedure, stem cells are separated from the removed fat and combined with autogenous fat used for aesthetic purposes. The resulting mixture is injected into the redefined areas to make the butts look larger and lifted. In this way, the fat is returned to the body and the desired shape is achieved.
Liposuction and lipofilling are used in Butt augmentation. If the patient does not have enough fat for a Brazilian butt lift, silicone implants are placed on the butts. In this way, the appearance called Brazilian butt is obtained. Studies have shown that Brazilian butt surgery reduces bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol.
Who can have buttock augmentation surgery?
Candidates for BBL aesthetics are people who are unhappy with the appearance of flat or sagging buttocks. However, not all women are ideal candidates. Patients must have sufficient fat in other parts of the body to be able to transfer the fat to the buttocks. If you do not have enough body fat, buttock implants may be considered.
What is the recovery time for butt augmentation?
It is recommended that you wear a tight corset for the first two to four weeks to reduce post-operative swelling. Patients may experience some bruising, swelling and local discomfort for a few weeks after the procedure. Patients can return to work and other regular activities as soon as they feel comfortable, usually after a few days to a week.
